It's Rodeo Time in Hartington

Cedar County will soon be gearing up for the 2009 Cedar County Rodeo!  The rodeo will be held on July 16th.  The Cedar County Rodeo has become a crowd pleaser with lots of exciting fun for the whole family no matter what age.  There are 9 events of competition including: Bareback Riding, Calf Roping/Over 40 Calf Roping, Breakaway Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Barrel Racing and a crowd favorite-----the Bull Riding.  The rodeo clown plays a great part of keeping the crowd entertained as well.  Enjoy a night of fun and entertainment.  Lets Rodeo!

Calf Scramble

Back again this year to the Cedar County Fair is the
Calf Scramble!!  This contest is open to anyone who is 18 or older and will be held during
the Rodeo on Thursday night.  Sign up prior to the rodeo between 5:30 and 6:30 pm.

 Try your luck as you try to
pull a ribbon off your calf!

Prizes will be awarded!!!!
